These are 5 simple methods you should try
1. Call the Passport Helpline Number:-

This is might be going to be your first step after when you have been impatient while not receiving your passport even when it's been more than a month or two. So you might have been trying to call the passport office helpline number and after they receive your call and collect all the information from you like your name, DOB, file number, etc. They will say yeah you should call your regional passport office helpline number. They will help you with this.
I mean like then why are calling me my friend. Yeah, thanks anyway I didn't know that I suppose to call my regional passport office number.
And furthermore, they will ask you " So is there anything else I can do for you Sir". and I am just like. what the hell... else you can help me with. I mean seriously I can't swear in this blog but inside me, I do a lot. But this is how things have been done in INDIA.

2. Call Passport Regional Office:-
So alright after as we have been told we have to call now to Passport Regional Office for whatever state you are living in. I don't know much about other states but in the state, I live in "PUNJAB" things just go like this. So you are going to have a lot of patients and a lot of free time before you make your call to Regional Office. Because it is most of the time, I mean all the time happens that they are too busy to take your call. The call will keep on going busy for hours or hours or years or your whole life. But if you are too lucky. There might be chances that it will ring. trin trin ....trin...trin ....trin..trn and cut off.
Now I think I really have to swear because if the guy was on the phone and was too busy attending to others' calls, what the damn been happen when I got one single chance to talk to someone at the passport regional office. that guy just ran out to drink water or have his lunch or he got called on his personal phone or he might get a heart attack at the same time when I called. any way another method failed
So now we have to try our third step
3. Send Them an Email:-
Yeah Now, this is internet time and people rather than talking on the phone and making solutions to your problems. Like solving it through the internet. so you have been so silly trying to ring them for many hours. So what do you guys have to do here if Method one or two didn't work at all try this method just write it down very nicely Sir/Mam I have been facing this issue since then and still I am not receiving my passport and sending it through Gmail.
now I am just been so impatient that I start taking over stressed about it and can't sleep at night or do my things properly, maybe I will start taking drugs soon .or might do suicide in a few coming days.
Bro/Sis if you guys have very good luck they will take out some break from their very busy and precious time to read your g-mail. and if they will have very kind hearts and will have some piety in you they will reply to you back and if not.
So I think it is better to try out the fourth or fifth methods which work quite well than trying the last three steps
4. Launch an RTI:-
Yes, you heard it, right Sir or Mam. So there are two simple ways to use this method
1. To document an RTI you simply have to compose an application on clear plain paper in
a typical way addressed to the P.I.O of the concerned office.
2. Just press this link https://rtionline.gov.in to go to the official site. and follow up on some steps. to lunch your RTI. They definitely are going to reply to you within two or three days time just the next day. and it seriously works very well. you will get information within the days.
5. Go to Your Regional RPO Office Personally:-
So the last and least option you will have left is going to your Regional Passport Office.
But you have to consider a few things before you make your way there. Dress up nicely and First thing first you have to make another appointment to go and see officials in the passport RPO office. Sometimes it works you just go there and pop up in front of them and say Hey I am having this issue and they will let you go in. But it's better to have some appointments in your hand as they ask most of the time in "High Bass Sound" do you have an appointment letter. and kick you out from there you know what I mean. They will say the biggest no you ever heard. Take your appointment letter and other documents as well. Because you never know what they gonna ask you for so keep all documents with you

Unfortunately, if you are living in India you have to face these all if you are going to visit any Govt authorities
even if it's a passport office or aadhaar card center or for any other documents you don't have given many options rather than keep on going to same Govt office just to get one piece of paper and you have to see that same rude and mannerless people who doesn't have any work ethics doesn't even have proper knowledge of what they are doing at that workplace but still pretend like GOD because they are in Govt. service not in public service. Sometimes you have to pay with your time and money even though it's their mistake
Example:- almost 70 to 80 % aadhar cards have been made incorrect by Govt servants working for UIDAI.
But now people have to pay their time and money just correct there mistakes that they made in the past when aadhaar card was started in beginning. But you can not blame any Govt servant in INDIA.
